Nepheline Syenite Slag Fluidizer

Added in the correct amounts, NS will insure that your Slag is Fluid without harming Furnace Refractories.

The following are benefits of a properly fluidized slag:

• Prevents Oxygen/Nitrogen entrainment between Steel and atmosphere
• Insures proper absorbtion of inclusions into slag during stirring
• Prevents heat loss through insulation

Several Sizes are available; however, we recommend the 20 mesh material for ease of handling and for quick melting with minimal fines. Check out our specs page and MSDS pages.
