Fluid Petroleum Coke
Fluid Petroleum Coke is the black powder that remains after Refining Heavy
Oil in a Coker Unit. The material is uniform in size and chemistry and has
a high BTU level and high carbon content.
Fluid Coke is an economical replacement for Natural Gas in Furnaces that
can handle the 5% Sulfur content. The 89-90% Fixed Carbon level acts as a
useful metals reductant in Smelters/Metal Refineries.
